second life is a virtual environment where you live a virtual life actually make money find love, be yourself, have, fun, shop, and feel free. Go visit 2nd life noew and join.
My opinion about second life is that is pretty rediculous. It's scary knowing that americans are going to be lasy humans spending all their time at a computer living in a virtual fantasy world and they actually get pleasure from that. But whatever makes those people happy i guess go for it. I wouldn't sign for it though. TTYL : )

i do agree with you i dont really feel as though 2nd life is a way of life. i think its fine to use to communicate and meet people, but i dont think people shopuld spend their lives sitting at a computer living in a fantasy world.

i agree with the opinion of Lena about how second life is ridiculous. It is for the socially awkward and instead of having them try and fit it with society they seclude themselves to live in a virtual world. People need to learn how to live in reality and the real world.
ReplyDeleteIt is also dangerous because someone could meet dangerous people on second life and not know untill its too late. There could also be issues with computer hacking and privacy.
i agree that 2nd life is rather rediculous. I dont really understand the whole concept of it though. You can have meeting, talk to people and go to these different places but it just dosnt seem real to me. I think that there are a lot of other alternatives then having a virtual world, there are things like email,having phone confences and things of that nature if you need to be in contact with someone. Why should you have to got to some virtual world to do so. The idea of the whole things just dosnt make sense to me.
ReplyDeleteI agree about your opinion on Second life. People should not spend their time all day on the internet connecting with people. I believe people should communicate and meet with people face to face rather than in a "virtual" fantasy world online. Americans will start to become lazier than they already are. Although there are nice virtual people, shopping center, and real jobs to make money I do not believe this is the best way to get around.

ReplyDeleteI'm sure it's going to be a great hit, because everything seems to be very trendy nowadays.. I can't help and think that it's ridiculous, sitting behind a computer on your lazy ass instead of going out there and actually doing it in real life.
ReplyDeleteI have to say it is a great tool for some people if they are really into that, but it isn't a great tool for me. I'd rather go out there and use my actual first life.
Second Life is a little rediculous. It is like The Sims, which is fun...but we all know that it is not real life. It is a way for people to dream about how they want their life to be, but will not do anything to change it, like get off a computer and get a job or being social and meeting people.
ReplyDeleteI agree with this post. I don't believe that people should be spending time trying to make money and "find love" in this virtual world. If you can't make money in the real world than you aren't trying hard enough in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteSecond life seems pretty ridiculous to me too, I don’t understand why anyone would actually want to do that. I feel like the people that would participate in this would be very antisocial and by creating a whole fake world it would just make them that much worse. Our society is already extremely overweight and unhealthy and by creating a life where everything is online, it’s just going to add more healthy problems to our society.
